The Department of Ophthalmology offers a Cornea and External Disease Fellowship.

Cornea and External Disease Fellowship

The University of Florida has very active corneal and external disease, refractive surgery, and contact lens services. The faculty includes Dr. Sonal Tuli (fellowship director) and Dr. Anup Kubal. At the present time, over 200 new and established patients are seen per week in the cornea clinics at the University hospital. In addition, a large volume of cornea and anterior segment surgery is performed at this institution. In addition, the Veteran’s hospital located across the street has a busy cornea and general ophthalmology practice.

Medical and Surgical Retina Fellowship

The purpose of the training program is to provide the best clinical training regarding the management of retinal diseases. As such, the fellow is involved in all aspects of the clinical care of patients with retinal diseases. Our goal is to train competent, confident, sophisticated retina specialists, with both medical and surgical expertise.
