Intraocular Lenses from Space Station

ASCRS 2026

Dr. John LiVecchi attended ASCRS 2026 in Washington, DC, where he viewed a presentation on IOL changes following exposure aboard the International Space Station.

A unique highlight was the opportunity to hold the actual container that housed the intraocular lenses (IOLs) during their time aboard the ISS, bringing cutting-edge space research and ophthalmology together in a truly remarkable way.
