UF Health The Oaks will feature ophthalmology, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) and audiology services in the former Sears space at The Oaks Mall.

Our department uses a multidisciplinary approach when caring for the eye problems of our patients.
Research
Our research focus is gene therapy for retinal and macular degenerations as well as proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
Education
The residency program is based at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital as well as the NF/SG VA Medical Center located across the street. The University clinics are all subspecialty based, while the VA clinics are geared towards comprehensive ophthalmology.
