The University of Florida Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join our growing team in Gainesville, Florida. Our facilities!

Pediatric Surgical Care

Our pediatric ophthalmic surgeries are performed at the UF Health Children’s Surgical Center, a state-of-the-art facility located off Hull Road in Gainesville. The center’s child-friendly design provides a safe, comfortable, and family-focused environment tailored to pediatric patients.

Adult ophthalmology surgeries are performed separately at the UF Health Eye Center surgical suites; only pediatric procedures are conducted at the Children’s Surgical Center to ensure age-appropriate anesthesia and surgical care.

Outpatient pediatric ophthalmology visits take place at the UF Health Eye Center – The Oaks, a modern, patient-centered facility offering comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. The Oaks provides a collaborative clinical environment designed for optimal comfort and care.
